Vintage model 1531 from Czechoslovak CONSUL brand with faux leather case is in fully functional excellent state. CONSUL was born from licensed American brand Remington but production of these typewriters from 1960s in ZBROJOVKA BRNO co. was more modern. CONSUL machines were elegant and made to the top quality. Model 1531 was popular with officers thanks to its very low weight of just 4kg (8.8 pounds).
