Tonight, I’m looking back at the phase #1 of the interior re-design project for the well-known Whistler’s fine dining restaurant…slate floors, cabin vibe, rustic touches, original wooden cladding, high sloped ceilings, row of the skylights that provide daylight for real indoor Ficus tree…all seen at The Rimrock Cafe Whistler’s lobby space for decades,

however,

I desperately wanted for a real rock (that brings moisture indoors directly to a real tree) to become a welcoming outstanding feature at the arrival,…after all, how many restaurants out there got a real tree in their lobby?
